 The holidays are fast approaching which means less shopping for myself and more shopping for my family and friends.  With that being said shopping my own closet becomes an everyday task for me.  While purging my closet I came across this sequin pencil skirt I purchased last year, wore only once and was SO close to just giving away.  I am glad I hung on to it because it's so flattering and compliments the season so nicely.  I had an outfit in my head that included a full necklace of pearls to take the look up a notch, so I didn't wear the skirt for weeks because I don't own a full pearl necklace and I'd been scouring ebay and etsy for the necklace I had in mind.  While I am not really a big jewelry girl I have A LOT that was given to me or that I've bought on a whim, going through my collection I come across the double stranded pearl chain necklace I got from J. Crew last year on sale and thought "PERFECT" I can finally put together this look thats been in my head.  Moral of the story, take an inventory of your stuff and shop your own closet!
