little tidbits

I live for checking my mailbox for the next months magazine subscriptions and I finally got my favs a few days ago: People style watch (Rachel McAdams as the cover girl), Lucky Mag (my absolute fave with Rachel Bilson as the cover girl) Glamour (Jennifer Lawrence as the cover girl) and the J. Crew catalog (they have THE best stuff).  

While I was reading the People Style watch mag the article on vintage shopping caught my eye.  They asked what items do shoppers look for most when shopping at vintage stores and jewelry definitely had the most votes. Do you guys go vintage shopping? What do you look for while there?

I have yet to find a vintage shop in Raleigh, Cary, Apex, Durham or Chapel Hill (if you know of any PLEASE hit me up).  The first vintage store I visited was while I was on vacation in Atlanta last September and when I say I fell in love I mean I FELL in love! I think I spent most of my time in there going through all those beautiful scarves they had (I'm somewhat a collector). I ended up getting a scarf for myself and a pair of earrings for my mother.

With the weather starting to look up I thought it'd be nice to grab up some cute dresses and while looking in Francesca's Collections I found the prettiest pink clutch that I thought would be a fab accessory for both dresses. 

I also scored a couple pairs of short shorts! Cant wait to break these babies out since I have long legs! hehe
