Found treasure

The weather in NC has been darn near perfect all week and for some reason it made me think back to 5 years ago on a trip to Miami this short sleeved trench coat I bought.  When I went to clean out my closet last season I decided to keep it and I am glad it did, hopefully I can get more wear out of it now than I have over the past 5 years.  I spent like 40 minutes this morning trying to iron out all the old set in wrinkles and have come to the conclusion that I need to invest in a steamer. lol.

When I first saw this dress last year at J. Crew I tried it on in orange and fell in love, by the time it went on sale I found the blue one (seen here) fell in love and ordered another one in white.  This dress makes me feel super sophisticated, I love it!




I submitted my Wednesday work wardrobe (Kim Kardashian inspired look) last week to a Little bit of lacquer, Laura's blogspot and she chose my look as her favorite for the week. I was super excited by the email and wanted to share with you guys.  I love her blog and you should definitely check it out!

    How beautiful! I love how classy this look is, and how you've added fun touches to make it fab! The trench is in deed a great piece, pretty sure you can give tons of use to it, then the shoes are lovely very feminine and add a pop of color to the rest and last but not least great job with the arm party! Love to find new blogs through the challenges!
