DIY Maxi Dress

I took a sewing class back in high school (probably around 1999) and found out that I retained a few skills learned back then while making this Maxi dress.  My mom bought me a sewing machine for christmas (maybe 2000) and I've used it SPARINGLY since then, it still looks brand new 12 years later (sad).  Anyway I thought it would be fun to pick up another hobby to try and get some creative juices flowing and so far so good.  It took me about 35-40 minutes to make this maxi dress and I am very proud of my handiwork, thought I'd share with you guys.  Sorry about the quality of the photo, didnt really get much of a chance to take lots of pictures.
